SCHOOL UNIFORM
The School Community of Trundle Central School requires all students to wear the school uniform. The wearing of a school uniform makes a valuable contribution to the school by:
1. Ensuring all students conform to an acceptable standard of dress.
2. Fostering pride in the school.
3. Developing and maintaining a pleasant tone and good conduct.
4. Reducing to a minimum undesirable distinctions and competition in appearance between students in the same school.
5. Providing identification.
6. Helping to increase security for students travelling to and from school.
7. Enhancing the image of the school.
8. Helping reduce the risk of injury to students in practical subjects.
9. Developing in students an understanding of the importance of personal neatness, appearance, presentation and self discipline.
GIRLS
SECONDARY (Years 11 – 12)
Summer
Navy skirt, at least knee length, or navy dress shorts, maroon polo shirt, maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket. White socks and black shoes. Navy skirt must be worn for formal and representative occasions.
Winter
Navy skirt, at least knee length, or navy slacks, maroon polo shirt, maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket. White socks, natural or navy stockings and black shoes.
Sport/PE
Maroon sports shorts and maroon polo shirt. Maroon tracksuit pants, maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket. White socks and joggers.
SECONDARY GIRLS: Jewellery: - Permissible jewellery is a watch, a signet ring, stud or sleeper earrings for pieced ears. ALL other jewellery is not to be worn with school uniform.
MAKE UP – no discernible make up is to be worn with school uniform.
SECONDARY (Years 7 – 10)
Summer

Maroon and white check dress, or navy dress shorts with maroon polo with gold trim shirt, maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket, maroon under wear. White socks and black shoes. Dress to be worn for formal and representative occasions.
Winter
Navy slacks and maroon polo with gold trim. Maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket. White socks and black shoes.
Sport/PE
Maroon sports shorts and maroon polo shirt. Maroon tracksuit pants and maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket. White socks and joggers
BOYS
SECONDARY (Years 11 – 12)

Grey shorts or trousers, maroon polo shirt, maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket. Grey socks and black shoes.
Winter
Grey trousers, maroon polo shirt, maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket. Grey socks and black shoes.
Sports/PE
Maroon sports shorts and maroon polo shirt, maroon tracksuit pants, maroon sloppy joe and or school jacket. Maroon and gold socks and joggers.

HATS – Primary and Secondary
Primary - Maroon wide brimmed hats or maroon legionnaire hats.
Secondary - hat
Navy or maroon plain beanie in Winter.
NO HAT - NO PLAY!!
